ThisOneCounts invites you to join us on this adventure.

Mission & Vision

Life is a series of moments, strung together. Making up a sentence, a paragraph, a chapter… a life. Each one necessary to take you on to the next, good or bad, difficult or easy, they all come and pass,… lose them or use them….YOU choose..

Choose to make this one count.

TOC has arrived through a passion, a drive and an opportunity.

TOC is a Mantra which drives us and HAS driven us over the last 15 years. During hard work, rainy days training, or chilling on the side of a mountain and with a loving and supportive family, TOC has reminded us,

ThisOneCounts….. use it don’t lose it”

The faces behind ThisOneCounts

Over the years J has competed in a lot of races and challenges. From trekking to Everest Base Camp (and being slightly ill, that’s another story), to riding solo unsupported with just his tent and bike from John O’Groats to Lands End in just over 8 days…and losing nearly 2 stone in the process (now that’s a great diet). From triathlons to adventure races, marathons, mountain challenges and so on.

J just loves sport, the outdoors and the challenge. ThisOneCounts was born out of this passion and a desire to introduce others to the adventure sport can bring to people’s lives.

Married to Dani, father of two great children who seem to have the Adventure Gene, not forgetting his training partner Oakley their springer spaniel. Enjoys road biking (first love…in sport that is), MTB, trail/fell running, climbing, kayaking, kite bugging, roller skating, swimming, hill walking and a qualified ML …

I can hear you now “he must have an understanding family”. He does.

GRAEME-CORLETT

Gee C is a very apt name for Graeme, those who know anything about cycling will know GC stands for General Classification and our very own Gee C was an elite racing cyclist…. I know, sickening! For 14 years cycle racing for teams in the UK, Italy and Belgium Gee C loves sport, the outdoors and physical challenges. He still enjoys cycling but now also enjoys adventure racing, trailfell running and mountain walking, and is a qualified ML.

Gee C also comes with bags of leadership experience in both IT Project Management and Service Management and delivery…yes, living the dream in the corporate world too! Gee C led a number of teams through the delivery of successful IT business change projects and support for some large, well known global corporations.

At home Gee C is married to Angie. Between them they have 4 children and with his new family supporting and sharing his passion for adventure, Gee C strives to share with them the real joy of living a fulfilled, purpose driven life. ThisOneCounts is the passion through which he hopes to share this drive and desire to a much wider audience.
